Why you should service people, not your wallet.

Last week, I heard a quote during an event that reminded me of why I do what I do:

It isn’t uncommon for people to say things like,

  • “Why do you teach your clients how to do things?”

  • “Why don’t you host their site so they can’t make edits without so you make more money?”

  • “Aren’t you afraid they won’t need you anymore?”

Quite simply, this isn’t what I am about.

As a small business owner myself, I know just how important it is to manage all my own systems, processes platforms, etc. Do I have plenty of clients who still call me everytime they want to do something? Yep! But do they have to? No.

My Mission:

Empower business owners to grow their business through digital marketing, business operations, workflow automation and more. I do this by not only executing what they ask for, but offering a training on how to do the basics and set things up themselves. I always offer to go that little bit further to make sure my clients feel like they have everything they need to make informed decisions and can action items they need to.

The quote I heard from Rob Baker at Tailored Thinking encompasses just that. Business owners love the things they create for themselves, so empowering fellow small business owners to grow let’s them create and truly value and love what they do.

It isn’t about the competition, it’s about helping others.

Looking for Inspiration?

The #communityovercompetition caught my eye on instagram years ago, but it is something I have followed since. The Rising Tide Society is a community of over 75K+ creative entrpreneuers that are the most giving and kind individuals. It’s how I have connected with over creative entrepreneurs and stayed inspired by those who are willing to show up and care more about the people, and less about their wallets.

Getting plugged in with like minded business owners has been the single greatest decsion of my journey, and I encourage you to do the same!
